Description Record of a conversation between Sir Alec Douglas-Home and William P. Rogers the United States Secretary of State about Rogers' talks with Mr. Gromyko regarding the Soviet Union and Cuba, Berlin air corridors, the Four-power talks over Berlin, SALT and disagreements over the Middle East. Talks continued with Douglas-Home over Fiji and membership of the UN, facilities for Russian ships at Singapore, Arms for South Africa, Indo-China, the Persian Gulf, The Middle-East and Hi-jacked hostages, Middle-East peace settlement, Jordan, Greece and Spain and defence in Europe.
